Bonuso Capital is a private holding company. We put capital and operating experience behind established business-to-business services companies, and we work alongside the people already running them.
Most of the capital in this market arrives with a timetable attached. Ours does not.

Operating experience
We have run services businesses rather than modeled them. Utilization, pricing, delivery risk, and the daily work of keeping good people are familiar ground, and that is where we are useful after closing.
Permanence
We buy to hold. Nothing in our model requires an exit, which means the plan for year ten carries more weight with us than the plan for year three.
Where we focus
Asset-light services companies, where the value sits in the clients, the team, and the reputation.
Established businesses in the lower middle market, generally with revenue in the low single-digit millions and a base of clients who come back. We look nationally, and we pay closer attention in Chicago and the broader Midwest because we can be in the room.

Who we are
Bonuso Capital was founded by Patrick Bonuso, who has built and sold two companies and has sat in the CEO and CTO chairs along with most of the seats in between.
His career has been spent inside services businesses: running delivery and sales, carrying the P&L, and learning what a company of this kind actually costs to operate well. He continues to own and operate a services business today, and works from the Chicago area.
